cross cultural project Brazil

why Brazil

8 in 10 Brazilians call themselves Christian. Only about 1 in 4 is evangelical.

Brazil is home to the largest Catholic population in the world, but for many, faith is cultural rather than personal. A growing number of young Brazilians claim no religion at all, and much of what they hear about Jesus is shaped by prosperity teaching rather than the gospel. That’s why the campus matters: students at the Federal University of Minas Gerais are tomorrow’s leaders, and what they learn now they carry for a lifetime.

Our team will spend those weeks building relationships with students, sharing the gospel, training new believers as disciples, and connecting them to Communidade Horizonte so disciples in Brazil will multiply the ministry for years to come.
