I grew up in church my whole life. I believed I was good and a Christian because of church. When I got out of high school, substance abuse and sexual immorality took over my life. It became my identity. I then came to faith when I was introduced to a relationship with Jesus during college. He gave me security when I started following Him instead of my own ways.

I grew up attending church with my parents, but I never understood what Jesus meant to me. After my parents separated when I was eight, our involvement in church drifted away. My faith remained a distant concept rather than a personal relationship. Everything changed during a season of deep un fulfillment at the start of my sophomore year in college. I began searching for peace, and I heard it was found in Jesus. God then opened my heart to the reality of His grace. I realized salvation wasn’t a religious transaction, but a personal relationship to be received. Today, I am driven by the joy of walking with Jesus daily. His redemptive love has transformed my life, and I am passionate about sharing that same hope with students on campus!
