Birmingham Staff

I grew up in a non-christian home but was always drawn to the idea of God. I spent most of my life finding my worth in my ability to do everything perfectly. As I entered middle and high school, everything looked perfect on the outside, but internally I was anxious, chaotic and in desperate need of a savior. In my freshman year of college He placed a Campus Outreach staff woman in my life to faithfully share the gospel with me over the course of that year. God met me a few months later on Summer Beach Project, in the midst of my sin, and called me to repentance and new life with Him! He revealed more and more of himself to me over the months that followed. He showed me (and continues to remind me) that He is completely sufficient and that no amount of striving can ever earn His love for me. Ever since then I have had a passion for sharing this freedom to be found in Christ with the world!
