Birmingham Staff

Growing up, I was aware of God and his presence but never fully understood what that meant, but I knew that I longed for more in my life. Starting college, I was still lost and felt alone in my struggles, believing I was too far gone in the world for anything to save me or fulfill my needs. My freshman year, I was pursued by campus outreach staff and went to beach weekend, where God encountered me. He showed me that he has always been by my side and that no one is too far gone for his love and grace. That night, I gave my life to Christ, and since then, God has been growing my love for his heart and mission, and I'm excited to share that truth and word that I experienced with other students through Campus Outreach!
