Growing up in a Christian home, I thought I knew Jesus. Church, small groups, and worship music were a part of my routine. But the fulfillment I received from those outlets would quickly diminish, as I had a small view of the power of the gospel for myself. I thought I understood what it meant to be a Christian, but stuck in darkness and striving, I never experienced His grace. Little did I know the Lord would reveal the wellspring of joy and freedom in Christ's finished work in my first year of college! God kindly used new friends to help me comprehend the gospel, and the Lord has given me a new heart to follow Him. My involvement with Campus Outreach has burdened my heart for lost students, and I am privileged to share the good news of Jesus to them, for His glory.
